I've not done many beig proper portraits for a while but I am working on one now, it will be uploaded whan its finished hopefully in a couple of days. Its going very well so far but it is very detailed so I'm taking my time.

This is my latest commission, and A3 drawing of Judd Trump.

I felt inspired today so I did this watercolour.

Just finished one of the commissions I had to do before christmas, I will wait to upload a pic cos it's a surprise xmas present for someone and I dont want to give it away! In the meantime tomorrow I am getting a tattoo of my own design tomorrow. I'm excited but a little scared, firstly cos it's my first one and I don't know how painful it will be and secondly I am going to have to trust another artist with my design. I'm not used to relying on other peoples work cos I have always done stuff myself. I will hopefully be happy with the result and put some pics up soon. I have got plans to do some more drawings and wintery watercolours for xmas.

ok the spiders look a bit lame but the ghosts came out ok, it was my first time piping so overall it went well. I found i was good at the swirly icing bit :)

 

This is a finished drawing I am selling to a friend. It was really difficult cos I don't usually draw this type of thing. The real picture is a lot more colourful and there is much more detail.

Well I didn't manage to sell any of my work at todays exhibition but I did have loads of lovely comments. It was my first exhibition ever so I didn't expect to sell anything, just being involved meant a lot to me and I will enter next years aswell. Also I am going to try harder to find exhibitions in my area and I am inspired to do a lot more artwork.

I have recently been through a phase where I wasn't sure if I wanted to sell my work but now I'm feeling inspired to try, I have seen artists sell their work for £100s and I know I could pain as good as them if I keep working hard. I really hope I can sell my work at this exhibition tomorrow, I'm not charging too much but it's a start!

For those who live in the Nottingham area some of my work will be on sale tomorrow at St Leonard's Community centre in Wollaton, there will be many other artists work there so it is worth a look and its free to enter.

I saw Darren Hayes in concert last week and he was amazing, so it inspired me to draw this, I have drawn Darren before but I think that was about 15 years ago, it's about time I drew him properly.

I have made another cake, this one is for my mums birthday.

I am working on a drawing at the moment, its going to be of a dog (my first time drawing one) and it's for a friend. After that one I feel inspired to draw Darren Hayes, I went to see him in Birmingham last night and he was amazing. It brought back a lot of memories for me cos I have been a fan for about 15 years and I last saw him with Savage Garden more than 10 years ago!

Here is my latest drawing! It's the first one I've done in ages so I dont think its brilliant but it has got me back into it again. The picture in real life it more skin coloured but the camera doesn't seem to pick that up, I wish I had an A2 scanner!

I've still not quite finished the drawing I'm working on but here is a pic of what I have been up to! My little sisters birthday cake that I made, I will put up another pic once it's been sliced so you can see the inside :)

I should hopefully have my next drawing finished by the end of tomorrow, I will put a pic up as soon as I can. I just realised that I have only done about 3 pieces of art this year which is really bad, I need to be doing so much more. I am going to work much harder to get more done now. Studying starts at the end of the month so that will slow me down with the artwork, this is my last course though so I will be free to do as much as I can afterwards. I also have this crazy idea to learn cake decorating, I think it will be a good way of putting my artistic skill to use while trying something different :)

I just want to let everyone know I am working on a drawing at the moment. I haven't done much drawing for a while cos I've been decorating my house so I have chosen something simple. I like drawing faces the most so this one focuses only on the face. Hopefully it will be finished over the next few days. I'm hoping I can do a really good job so I'm gonna take my time. I can end up rushing sometimes!

Hello everyone, I've started this blog in order to introduce my artwork to the world. I have come to a point where I have decided to think more seriously about selling my work, therefore people need to see it! I am just getting started with this whole blog thing so at the moment I don't have a clue what I'm doing, hopefully I will pick it up though. In the future I will be posting info and images about my artwork and maybe some stuff about myself so you can get to know me as well as my art.
